The difference between the greatness of the creator and the creature….
The creature may sometimes be great, he may be great in his youth but not when he is old...He may be a king, or may be rich and glorified among his people, then his
kingdom and his riches go, or his people depart, and his greatness goes with her.. But Allah Almighty is always great… Allah exists by himself, he doesn't need anyone to make him exist, and so are his qualities. His qualities are eternal.
The grandeur of a creature is limited, it is said, this is a great body, but this body is greater than him, and this is a great mind, but the mind of another is greater.
The greatness of God, however, is not disparate, and no greatness is compared to it because it is on top of it, and there is no greater than him.
He is great in himself, great in all his names, great in all his attributes, great in his hearing and sight, great in his power, great in his knowledge... His greatness cannot be reduced to nothing.
The creature's greatness is known how it is.
The creator's greatness is steady for Allah, it has real qualitative, which is not known to any creature…. Sunnis confirm the name, the meaning, i.e. the adjective derived from the name, Allah only knows how.
That humans can't really know some of the creatures.
No matter how much we talk about death, heaven, or fire, we cannot know what they really are unless we observe them.
Sahl Ibn Saad El Sa'dy said that the prophet, peace be upon him, described heaven when he ended his talk
He said that paradise (heaven) has things which have never been seen by an eye, or heard by an ear, or imagined by a human being." If you wish, you can recite this Verse from the Holy Qur'an:--
"Their sides part [i.e., they arise] from [their] beds; they supplicate their Lord in fear and aspiration, and from what We have provided them, they spend, No soul knows what is kept hidden for them, of joy as a reward for what they used to do."

This is about paradise and some of Allah's creatures, what if we talk about Allah himself, Allah Almighty is different from anything that occurs to your mind.

Allah, the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the Magnificent

Supplication of question..
Asking Allah what we need by the name which is suitable to our demand.
As we can say, Allah the great please magnifies my livelihood, magnifies my wage...etc.
Supplication of worship..
Is to worship Allah Almighty by virtue of his good names.
Supplication to Allah by his name "the great" is glorifying him by heart, tongue, and senses, and this by exerting effort in knowing him, loving him, and groveling to him, also succumbing to his pride, fearing him, praising him, and making the senses thank him and worship him.
The first thing in glorifying Allah is to glorify his orders, forbiddens, and his observances… Glorifying Allah's orders means glorifying Allah who made these orders.
Allah praised those who glorify Allah's orders by saying:
"That [is so]. And whoever honors the symbols of Allah - indeed, it is from the piety of hearts".
Here the angels glorify the great Allah's orders.

The Prophet said, "When Allah decrees some order in the heaven, the angels flutter their wings indicating complete surrender to
His saying which sounds like chains being dragged on rock. And when the
state of fear disappears, they ask each other, "What has your Lord
ordered? They say that He has said that which is true and just, and He
is the Most High, the Most Great."
Also glorifying Allah is mentioning Allah all the time, mentioning his name in everything, thanking and praising him as he should.
Also glorifying Allah is to glorify and respect his prophet.
Also glorifying Allah is to glorify and respect his prophet.
"In
order that ye (O men) may believe in Allah and His Messenger, that ye
may assist and honour Him, and celebrate His praise morning and
evening".
This is also honouring moslem scientists, sunnis and followers, respecting them, defending them,
And foremost among them are the prophet's companions.
Glorifying Allah is also by believing in his book as it is Allah's speech, and governing by it because it is Allah's law, which he has accepted for all people… He who doesn't do this is not glorifying Allah.

Allah
has bestowed greatness on some of his loyal and loved ones and also
some of his worshippers so people feel respect and compliance towards
them…If a worshipper is bestowed pride and prestige, so he has to thank
Allah for bestowing him this, and acts in according to what he should
do, he should not oppress, he should not tyrannize, as this robe he wore
could be deprived from him if he is not grateful to Allah, and if
doesn't grovle to Allah.
He will be tormented if he oppressed or tyrannized, or is not grateful to the greatness of Allah.
He will be tormented if he oppressed or tyrannized, or is not grateful to the greatness of Allah.
Allah
the glorified said “ ‘Pride is My cloak and greatness My robe, and
whoever competes with Me with regard to either of them, I shall throw
him into Hell.”
