Allah’s Name The Subtly kind
الحمد لله
فإن أشرف العلم مطلقًا هو العلم الذي يعرِّف المؤمن بربه، ويدله على مولاه، ولا ريب أن أقرب الطرق لذلك هو التعرف على معاني أسمائه وصفاته – عز وجل - ، بل إن هذا العلم من أعظم ما يملأ القلب إيمانًا بالله، وحبًا لله، حتى إن المتشبع به، لينقاد ـ بعون الله ـ إلى فعل الطاعة وترك المعصية بسهولةٍ لا يكاد يجدها في مؤثر آخر.
وإذا كان من القبيح أن يجهل الإنسان أحوال أهله وأسرته القريبة، فما الظن بالجهل بمعاني ربه الذي خلقه ورزقه وكساه وآواه وعافاه؟!
ووالله إن من أعظم الحرمان العظيم أن ترى بعض المسلمين يعيش فترة من دهره، بل ربما انقضى عمره ومات وهو لم يتعلم أو يسأل عن معاني ما يمر به من أسماء حسنى وصفاتٍ عُلا في كتاب الله أو سنة نبيه - صلى الله عليه وسلم - مع تيسر ذلك له!
أيها المسلمون:
هذا مقام عظيم أقفه اليوم، يرتعش له البدن، ويرتجف له الفؤاد؛ وُحقّ لكل من يقفه أن يكون كذلك ..
إنني أقف لأتحدث عن من لا يحصي عبده ثناء عليه، هو – سبحانه وتعالى - كما أثنى على نفسه، إنني أتحدث عن قطرة من بحر، وجزء يسير من معاني اسم من أسماء الله الحسنى التي تعرف إلى عباده بها، وللإيمان به ومعرفة معانيه الأثر الإيماني العظيم، وتحقيق السكينة الكبيرة للقلب، إنه اسم الله "اللطيف".

Thanks to Allah
The most spectacular science is the science that makes the believer knows his Allah
Surely the closest way to do this is to recognize the meanings and attributes of his (Allah) names
Indeed, this science
fills the heart with faith in Allah, with love to Allah, so that, with
Allah help, it leads to obedience and to leave transgression with a ease
that is hardly found in any other influence
It
is bad that a person ignores conditions of his family and relatives,
then it is also bad to ignore the names of Allah, who created him, who
clothed him, and who gave him shelter
It
is a great deprivation to see some Muslims living for a long time, and
perhaps even their lives have passed and they haven't been taught or
asked about the meaning of the names of Allah or of the Sunnah of the
Prophet, even though that is possible for them
O
Muslims: This is a great shrine that I stand today, for which the body
and the heart tremble for it. And everyone who stands by in my position
should be like this.. I stand to talk about the one whose servant does
not count his praise, he – the Almighty – as he praised himself, I am
talking about a drop from the sea, and a small part of the meanings of
one of the names of Allah that are known to his servants, to have faith
in it and to know its meanings, and its great effect on the serenity of
the heart, for it is the name of Allah, The Kind
*من أسماء الله الحسنى الثابتة في القرآن والسنة " اللطيف " ، قال تعالى " أَلا يَعْلَمُ مَنْ خَلَقَ وَهُوَ اللطِيفُ الْخَبِيرُ " الملك/14 ، وقال عز وجل" وَاذْكُرْنَ مَا يُتْلَى فِي بُيُوتِكُنَّ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللهِ وَالْحِكْمَةِ إِنَّ اللهَ كَانَ لَطِيفًا خَبِيرًا " الأحزاب/34.
ولهذا الاسم معنيان عظيمان :
الأول : أن الله يعلم دقائق الأمور وخفاياها ، وما في الضمائر والصدور .
قال الشيخ عبد الرحمن السعدي شارحًا معنى هذا الاسم " الذي لَطُفَ علمه حتى أدرك الخفايا ، والخبايا ، وما احتوت عليه الصدور، وما في الأراضي من خفايا البذور " .انتهى من "تفسير أسماء الله الحسنى " للسعدي :ص: 225.
المعنى الثاني : أن الله تعالى يحسن إلى عباده من حيث لا يحتسبون .
قال الزجاج " وَهُوَ فِي وصف الله يُفِيد أَنه المحسن إِلَى عباده فِي خَفَاء وَستر من حَيْثُ لَا يعلمُونَ ، ويسبب لَهُم أَسبَاب معيشتهم من حَيْثُ لَا يحتسبون " .انتهى " تفسير أسماء الله الحسنى " للزجاج :ص: 44 .
فإذا يسر الله لعبده طريق الخير وأعانه عليه : فقد لطف به .
وإذا دفع عنه السوء والمكروه : فقد لطف به .
وإذا هداه من ظلمات الجهل والكفر والبدع والمعاصي ، إلى نور العلم والإيمان والطاعة : فقد لطف به .
وإذا قيض الله له أسبابًا خارجية غير داخلة تحت قدرة العبد : فقد لطف به .
فمن لطفه : أن يسوق عبده إلى الخير ، ويعصمه من الشر ، بطرق خفية لا يشعر العبد بها ، ويسوق إليه من الرزق ما لا يدريه ، ويريه من الأسباب التي تكرهها النفوس ما يكون ذلك طريقًا له إلى أعلى الدرجات ، وأرفع المنازل .
" ولهذا لما تنقلت بيوسف عليه السلام تلك الأحوال ، وتطورت به الأطوار من رؤياه ، وحسد إخوته له ، وسعيهم في إبعاده ،واختصامهم بأبيهم ثم محنته بالنسوة ،ثم بالسجن ، ثم بالخروج منه بسبب رؤيا الملك العظيمة ، وانفراده بتعبيرها ، وتبوئه من الأرض حيث يشاء ، وحصول ما حصل على أبيه من الابتلاء والامتحان .ثم حصل بعد ذلك الاجتماع السار وإزالة الأكدار وصلاح حالة الجميع والاجتباء العظيم ليوسف : عرف عليه السلام أن هذه الأشياء وغيرها لَطَفَ اللهُ لهم بها ، فاعترف بهذه النعمة فقال"إِنَّ رَبِّي لَطِيفٌ لِمَا يَشَاءُ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْعَلِيمُ الْحَكِيمُ"يوسف 100.أي لطفه تعالى خاص لمن يشاء من عباده ممن يعلمه تعالى محلًا لذلك وأهلًا له ، فلا يضعه إلا في محله ، فالله أعلم حيث يضع فضله ،فهو الحكيم الخبير.
It is one of the fixed names in the Holy Quran and in the Sunnah
قال تعالى " أَلا يَعْلَمُ مَنْ خَلَقَ وَهُوَ اللطِيفُ الْخَبِيرُ " الملك/14 .
Should not He Who has created know? And He is the Most Kind and Courteous (to His slaves), All-Aware (of everything).
وقال عز وجل" وَاذْكُرْنَ مَا يُتْلَى فِي بُيُوتِكُنَّ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللهِ وَالْحِكْمَةِ إِنَّ اللهَ كَانَ لَطِيفًا خَبِيرًا " الأحزاب/34.
And remember what is recited in your houses of the verses of Allؤپh and wisdom. Indeed, Allؤپh is ever Subtle and Aware
This name has two great meanings
The first..
Allah knows minute things and what are in the consciences and chests
Sheikh Al Sa’di said that Allah is kind that he knows hidden things, he knows things in chests and hidden roots in the land
The second meanig
Allah is kind to his worshippers where they don't count
Azzagag said: Allah is a benefactor to his worshippers in secret, from where they do not know, and causes them a livelihood from where they do not count
If Allah makes his servant happy in the way of good and helps him, then he is kind to him..If he turns away bad and unpleasant things from him then he is kind to him
If he turns him from
the darkness of ignorance, blasphemy, heresy and transgressions to light of science, faith, and obedience then he is kind to him. If Allah made external causes, not under the slave's power, he is kind to him. Allah is kind when he drives his slave to good and turns away evil from him with hidden ways that the slave doesn't feel it
Allah is kind when he gives his slave the best livelihood, Allah leads his slave to higher ranks by unpleasant means, as in the story of prophet Yussuf.. The prophet yussuf had many hard times, his brothers envied him, they tried to exclude him, he had plight with women, he was prisoned, then came out of the prison by the king's dream, he was the only one who explained this dream, then he was established in the land, and passed by hard times as his father, then he was reunited with his brothers and parents, happy things happened and everyone was good.. Yussuf knew that all these things were because of Allah's kindness.
إِنَّ رَبِّي لَطِيفٌ لِمَا يَشَاءُ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْعَلِيمُ الْحَكِيمُ"يوسف 100.
Indeed, my Lord is Subtle in what He wills. Indeed, it is He who is the Knowing, the Wise
فإذا رأيت الله تعالى قد يسر العبد لليسرى ، وسهل له طريق الخير ، وذلل له صعابه ، وفتح له أبوابه ، ونهج له طرقه ، ومهد له أسبابه ، وجنبه العسرى : فقد لطف به " .انتهى من تفسير أسماء الله الحسنى" للسعدي ص: 227 .بتصرف يسير.
ومن لطفه بعباده : أنه يقدر أرزاقهم بحسب علمه بمصلحتهم ، لا بحسب مراداتهم ، فقد يريدون شيئًا وغيره أصلح لهم ، فيقدر لهم الأصلح وإن كرهوه؛ لطفًا بهم ، وبرًا وإحسانًا " اللَّهُ لَطِيفٌ بِعِبَادِهِ يَرْزُقُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَهُوَ الْقَوِيُّ الْعَزِيزُ"الشورى 19.
ومن لطفه بهم : أنه يقدر عليهم أنواع المصائب ، وضروب المحن والابتلاء رحمةً بهم ولطفًا ، وسوقا إلى كمالهم ، وكمال نعيمهم " وَعَسَى أَنْ تَكْرَهُوا شَيْئًا وَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ وَعَسَى أَنْ تُحِبُّوا شَيْئًا وَهُوَ شَرٌّ لَكُمْ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ وَأَنْتُمْ لا تَعْلَمُونَ " البقرة 216.
يقول ابن القيم " ما يَبْتَلِي الله بهِ عبادَهُ من المصائبِ ، وَيَأْمُرُهُم بهِ من المكارهِ ، وَيَنْهَاهُم عنهُ من الشَّهَوَاتِ ، هيَ طُرُقٌ يُوصِلُهُم بها إلى سعادتِهِم في العاجلِ والآجلِ ، وقدْ حُفَّت الجنَّةُ بالمكارهِ ، وَحُفَّت النارُ بالشهواتِ .
وقدْ قَالَ صلى الله عليه وسلم" عَجَبًا لِأَمْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِ إِنَّ أَمْرَهُ كُلَّهُ خَيْرٌ وَلَيْسَ ذَاكَ لِأَحَدٍ إِلَّا لِلْمُؤْمِنِ ، إِنْ أَصَابَتْهُ سَرَّاءُ شَكَرَ فَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَهُ وَإِنْ أَصَابَتْهُ ضَرَّاءُ صَبَرَ فَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَهُ" مسلم
If you see Allah Almighty has made things easy
for his servant, made the path of goodness easy for him, eased his
difficulties, opened closed doors for him, approached good ways to him,
cleared reasons for him, and spared him hardships, then he(Allah) is
kind to his servant.
Allah
by his kindness gives his worshippers their livelihood according to his
knowledge with what is good for them, not with what they want.
They may want something, but another thing is better for them, even if they hated this thing, but Allah with his kindness, righteousness and charity gives them what is better.
Allah afflicts them with all sorts of calamities, trials and afflictions, with mercy and kindness, for their perfection, and their bliss."

"perhaps
you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing
and it is bad for you. And Allah Knows, while you know not".

"Strange
are the ways of a believer for there is good in every affair of his and
this is not the case with anyone else except in the case of a believer
for if he has an occasion to feel delight, he thanks (God), thus there
is a good for him in it, and if he gets into trouble and shows
resignation (and endures it patiently), there is a good for him in it".
فالقضاءُ كُلُّهُ خَيْرٌ لِمَنْ أُعْطِيَ الشكرَ والصبرَ جَالِبًا ما جَلَبَ ..
وكذلكَ ما فَعَلَهُ بآدَمَ وإبراهيمَ وموسَى وعيسَى ومحمَّدٍ من الأمورِ التي هيَ في الظاهرِ مِحَنٌ وابتلاءٌ ، وهيَ في الباطنِ طُرُقٌ خَفِيَّةٌ أَدْخَلَهُم بها إلى غايَةِ كَمَالِهِم وَسَعَادَتِهِم " شفاء العليل .
فمن لطفه بعبده ووليه ـ الذي يريد أن يتم عليه إحسانه، ويشمله بكرمه ويرقيه إلى المنازل العالية ـ أن يجري عليه من أصناف المحن التي يكرهها وتشق عليه ـ وهي عين صلاحه ، والطريق إلى سعادته ـ كما امتحن الأنبياء بأذى قومهم وبالجهاد في سبيله، وكما امتحن أولياءه بما يكرهونه لينالوا ما يحبون.
"أَمْ حَسِبْتُمْ أَن تَدْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ وَلَمَّا يَأْتِكُم مَّثَلُ الَّذِينَ خَلَوْا مِن قَبْلِكُم مَّسَّتْهُمُ الْبَأْسَاءُ وَالضَّرَّاءُ وَزُلْزِلُوا حَتَّىظ° يَقُولَ الرَّسُولُ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مَعَهُ مَتَىظ° نَصْرُ اللَّهِ أَلَا إِنَّ نَصْرَ اللَّهِ قَرِيبٌ"البقرة:214.
ومن لطف الله تعالى بعبده : أنه ربما طمحت نفسه لسبب من الأسباب الدنيوية التي يظن فيها إدراك بغيته ، ويعلم الله تعالى أنها تضره وتصده عما ينفعه ، فيحول بينه وبينها ، فيظل العبد كارهًا ولم يدر أن ربه قد لطف به حيث أبقى له الأمر النافع وصرف عنه الأمر الضار .
قال ابن القيم " واسمه اللطيف يتضمن : علمه بالأشياء الدقيقة ، وإيصاله الرحمة بالطرق الخفية " انتهى من " شفاء العليل " ص: 34.
وقد أفاض الشيخ عبد الرحمن السعدي في بيان صور وحالات من لطف الله بعباده في رسالته " تفسير أسماء الله الحسنى " ص: 225 .

All is better for those who are given thanks and patience, whatever they passed with
As what was done with the prophets; Adam, Ibrabim, Moses, Eissa, and Mohammed, they had Things which are outwardly trials and tribulations, but there are hidden paths which brought them into their fullness and happiness.
Allah is kind to his slaves and his loyal ones - he wants to promote them to higher ranks by making them pass with various trials, that are hard, and are hated by them (the slaves) but they are good for them and are their way to happiness.. This is like what Allah made with his prophets, he tested them by being harmed by their people, and by their fight for Allah's sake.. This is also like the loyals who were tested by what they hated, to get what they loved.

messenger and those who believed with him said,"When is the help of
Allah ?" Unquestionably, the help of Allah is near".

ومن لطف الله بعبده أن يبتليه ببعض المصائب فيوفقه للقيام بوظيفة الصبر فيها في نيله درجات عالية لا يدركها بعمله، وقد يشدد عليه الابتلاء بذلك كما فعل بأيوب عليه السلام، ويُوجِدُ في قلبه حلاوة روح الرجاء، وتأميل الرحمة، وكشف الضر، فيخف ألمه وتنشط نفسه، ولهذا من لطف الله بالمؤمنين أن جعل في قلوبهم احتساب الأجر فخفت مصائبهم وهان ما يلقون من المشاق في حصول مرضاته.
ومن لطفه أنه يرحمهم من طاعة أنفسهم الأمارة بالسوء الذي هذا طبعها وديدنها، فيوفقهم لنهي النفس عنِ الهوى ويصرف عنهم السوء والفحشاء فتوجد أسباب الفتنة، وجواذب المعاصي وشهوات الغي فيرسل الله عليها برهان لطفه ونور إيمانهم الذي منَّ به عليهم فيََدَعُونها مطمئنين لذلك منشرحة لتركها صدورهم.
ومن لطفه سبحانه أن يقدر تعالى لعبده ويبتليه بوجود أسباب المعصية، ويوفر له دواعيها وهو ـ تعالى ـ يعلم أنه لا يفعلها؛ ليكون تركه لتلك المعصية التي توفرت أسباب فعلها من أكبر الطاعات، كما لطف بيوسف عليه السلام في مراودة المرأة، وكما لطف بسابع السبعة ـ الذين يظلهم الله في ظله يوم لا ظل إلا ظله ـ ذلك الرجل الذي دعته امرأة ذات منصب وجمال فقال: إني أخاف الله!
هذه عباد الله .. قطرة من بحر، وقليل من كثير، من معاني اسم الله اللطيف، فرحم الله عبدًا لمح هذه المعاني، وأحسن الظن بمولاه، وانطرح بين يديه طالبًا عفوه، واشتمالًا بلطفه الخفي.فسبحان مَنْ لا نحصي ثناء عليه، هو كما أثنى على نفسه.
Allah
is kind to his worshippers by giving them their livelihood according to
his knowledge with what is good for them, not by what they need.. They
may need something while another thing is better for them, even if they
hated this thing, this is because Allah is gracious.
"اللَّهُ لَطِيفٌ بِعِبَادِهِ يَرْزُقُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَهُوَ الْقَوِيُّ الْعَزِيزُ "الشورى: 19.
Allâh is very
Gracious and Kind to His slaves. He gives provisions to whom He wills. And He is the All-Strong, the All-Mighty.
Also Allah is kind when he afflicts his slave with trials, and makes him patient, so as to reach higher ranks that couldn't be reached by the slave's deeds.
As Allah did with the prophet Ayoub, He brought to his heart the sweetness of a spirit of hope, the inclination of mercy, the revelation of harm, so that his pains were lessened and his soul was refreshed.
Allah is kind when he makes his believers think that Allah will reward them so their calamities are lessened and all the hard times, they passed to please Allah, are lessened.
Allah also is kind when he prevents them from obeying their souls which are persistent enjoiner of evil.. So Allah drives them away from bad, obscene and lust by his kindness, and by giving them the light of faith, so they happily leave these things.
The slave is plagued by reasons for insubordination, but Allah, the kind, knows he (the slave) wouldn't do it, so by not doing it he is obedient.. This is like what the prophet Yussuf had done.. Allah was very kind to him when the woman seduced him and he didn't respond to her.. Also Allah is kind to the seventh seven who will be shaded by Allah's shade on the resurrection day; the man who was seduced by a woman and he said I fear Allâh.
O, Allah's worshippers this is a drop of the sea, a few of the many meanings of Allah's name "the kind".
May Allah have mercy on those who understood these meanings, thought well of Allah, asked his forgiveness and kindness. We couldn't praise Allah as he praised himself.

لم يقترن اسم الله اللطيف إلا باسمه الخبير . "وَهُوَ اللَّطِيفُ الْخَبِيرُ "الذي لطف علمه وخبره، حتى أدرك السرائر والضمائر،الخبير:هو العليم بسرائر عباده وضمائر قلوبهم ، الخبير بأمورهم الذي لا يخفى عنه شيء "الرَّحْمَنُ فَاسْأَلْ بِهِ خَبِيرًا" الفرقان 59
ويرجع السبب لأن الاسميين يتلاقيان في المعنى … فالله تعالى يطلِّع على بواطن الأمور ويلطف بعباده، فلا يُقدِّر لهم إلا ما فيه الخير .. وقد يخفى على العبد هذا الخير، فيُقابل قضاء الله بالاعتراض .. والله تعالى يقول "أَلَا يَعْلَمُ مَنْ خَلَقَ وَهُوَ اللَّطِيفُ الْخَبِيرُ"الملك: 14. فلا يلطف بك إلا من عرفك وكان خبيرًا بمواطن ضعفك وقوتك وبكل أحوالك.
فإذا عَلِمَ العبد أن ربَّه متصفٌ بدقة العلم، وإحاطته بكل صغيرة وكبيرة، حاسب نفسه على أقواله وأفعاله، وحركاته وسكناته ؛ لأنه يعلم في كل وقتٍ وحين أنه بين يدي اللطيف الخبير"أَلَا يَعْلَمُ مَنْ خَلَقَ وَهُوَ اللَّطِيفُ الْخَبِيرُ"الملك: 14.
Allah's Name "The Kind" is associated with his name "The Aware"..Allah is subtly kind that he knows the secrets and what are in the consciences. Allah knows the secrets of his worshippers, knows what are in their hearts, nothing is un known to him.

"the Most Merciful, so ask about Him one well informed"
These two names are associated because Allah knows everything about his worshippers and he does for them all the good, but the worshippers may not recognize that these things are for their good, so they object Allah's judgment.
He is kind to you he who knows everything about you, knows your weaknesses, strengths and knows all about you.
If the worshipper knows that the knowledge of Allah is accurate, and that he knows every minute and big thing, then he (the worshipper) asks himself about his speeches, deeds, movements and calmnesses as he knows he is under the Subtle kind and the Aware.
